Cayenne Raid Experience 2027
Some journeys fade with time. Others stay with you forever.
This is the adventure that awaits us.
Over nine days, we will travel across Mediterranean beaches, endless tracks, desert plateaus, ancient mines, mountain passes and the dunes of the Sahara, staying in carefully selected hotels and at a luxury camp in the very heart of the desert.
Day 1 – Almería → Nador · Overnight on board.
Tuesday, 16 March
The adventure begins in Almería, where we will meet all participants for the initial briefing, carry out the necessary checks and prepare the convoy before crossing into Africa.
As night falls, we will board the ferry to Nador, leaving Europe behind as the Mediterranean carries us towards the African continent.
We will spend the night on board the ferry, with that unique mix of excitement, nerves and anticipation that can only be felt before the start of a great expedition.
Day 2 – Nador → Saïdia
Wednesday, 17 March
After disembarking and completing the border formalities, the RAID officially begins.
Our first stage takes us along Morocco’s Mediterranean coast, crossing open beaches and stretches of firm sand, where we will begin to discover what a Cayenne is truly capable of off-road.
We will end the day at the spectacular Radisson Blu Resort Saïdia Beach 5★, a beachfront hotel where we will rest before taking on one of the most demanding stages of the entire expedition.
Day 3 – Saïdia → Errachidia
Thursday, 18 March
Today, we take on the marathon stage.
We will cross the impressive Plateau de Rekkam, a vast desert plateau where the tracks seem endless. We will drive for kilometres parallel to the Algerian border, passing through some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes in eastern Morocco.
At the end of the day, we will continue by road to Errachidia, where we will stay at the Hotel Kenzi Rissani 4★.
It will be a day of true raid driving: controlled speed, navigation, dust, endless horizons and the feeling of being far away from everything.
Day 4 – Errachidia → Merzouga
Friday, 19 March
From today onwards, the desert begins to dominate the landscape.
We will follow spectacular tracks, small oases and increasingly sandy terrain until we reach Merzouga, where one of the most memorable moments of the journey awaits us.
As the sun sets over the Sahara and silence takes over the desert, you will understand why this is considered one of the most magical places in Morocco.
We will spend the night at Nomad Palace Luxury Camp, staying in impressive, fully equipped luxury tents set in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 5 – Merzouga · Rest day.
Saturday, 20 March
Although the great dunes will have to wait one more day, today we will follow a circular route around Erg Chebbi, taking in some of the Sahara’s most iconic landscapes.
Throughout the day, we will be surrounded by towering mountains of golden sand as we cross fast tracks, rocky terrain and small nomadic settlements that preserve the true essence of the desert.
We will end the day at Hotel Tombouctou 4★, at the foot of the dunes.
Day 6 – Merzouga · First day in the dunes.
Sunday, 21 March
Hotel Tombouctou 4★
The moment everyone has been waiting for has arrived.
The entire day will be dedicated to the Sahara: we will learn driving techniques, tackle different types of dunes and explore some of the most spectacular sections of Erg Chebbi.
The group will be divided into several small teams, and each team will enter the dunes accompanied by a local guide specialising in sand driving.
Whether it is your first time or you already have experience, the route has been designed for you to enjoy, learn and take on new challenges.
Day 7 – Merzouga · Advanced dune driving, day two.
Monday, 22 March
Our second day in the desert will allow us to take things one step further.
With greater confidence and always accompanied by our specialist guides, we will tackle more technical dunes and more demanding routes.
For many of you, this will be the best day of the entire journey.
Hotel Tombouctou 4★
It will be a day where teamwork, strategy and driving take centre stage.
Day 8 – Merzouga → Midelt · Atlas Mines.
Tuesday, 23 March
We begin our journey back, but the adventure is far from over.
We will leave the Sahara behind to cross the Atlas Mountains, travelling through mountain passes and historic mining sites in the Midelt region.
We will end this extraordinary day at the spectacular Hotel Xaluca Sidi Ali 5★, one of the most impressive hotels along the entire route.
The mines offer a completely different setting from the desert: mountains, rocky tracks and an atmosphere that feels like another era.
Day 9 – Return to Spain
Wednesday, 24 March
Cayenne RAID Experience 2027 is not a journey. It is an experience you will remember for a lifetime.
Nador → Almería, returning across the Mediterranean.
Tangier Med → Algeciras, for those who prefer to return across the Strait of Gibraltar.
After breakfast, we will begin our journey north through Morocco. Each participant can choose the return option that best suits their onward journey:
The ferry will mark the end of the expedition, but not the memories.
You will have travelled thousands of kilometres through some of Morocco’s most spectacular landscapes, sharing tracks, dunes, sunrises and nights beneath the stars with a group of people united by the same passion.
