Day 1 - Marbella: The start of the adventure

Wednesday, March 25th

At 17:30 we will meet at the point indicated by the organisers. This is the first official step of this experience: a key moment to complete the mandatory technical checks, review documentation, receive navigation devices, satellite beacons, bibs, T-shirts, SIM cards and all the necessary material for the raid.

This day also serves as the first meeting between the participants. There is excitement, nerves and a special energy: something different is beginning, an experience that goes far beyond driving. During the welcome briefing, important logistical aspects will be recalled and a small preview of what is to come will be shared.

After this first meeting, each participant will make their own way to the self-booked accommodation near the port of Algeciras. The next day, at 07:00, the adventure begins in earnest: we embark for Morocco.

Day 2 - Algeciras to Marrakech: the journey begins

Thursday, 26 March

After getting up early and boarding, passports and vehicle documents are collected and checked and stamped on board. Upon arrival in Morocco and completion of the border crossing, it is time to change local currency, which is essential for getting around, especially on motorways where cards and euros are not accepted.

From the border, each group sets off for Marrakech. It is a long but exciting day, where the cultural, scenic and rhythmic change begins to be felt. Those travelling by plane will arrive directly at the airport and take a taxi (not included) to the Gran Mogador Menara hotel, where their Porsche Cayenne awaits them, ready to go.

Depending on the time of arrival, it will be possible to take a stroll around Marrakech or simply relax at the hotel. Tomorrow the adventure on the track begins.

Day 3 - Marrakech - High Atlas - Dades: first contact with deep Morocco

Friday, 27 March

With our bodies rested and our excitement high, we leave Marrakech to start the journey south. We ascend the High Atlas through the mythical Tizi n'Tichka pass, a route full of curves and panoramic views that marks the beginning of our real immersion in Morocco.

The day combines stretches of tarmac with off-road tracks that take us away from the conventional. We explore changing landscapes, crossing hidden valleys and Berber villages that seem frozen in time. Each bend brings with it a new contrast: high green areas give way to more arid terrain that heralds the desert.

The stage ends at the Xaluca Dades Hotel, surrounded by rock formations. A well-deserved dinner and rest in a setting that reminds us that the adventure has really begun.

Day 4 - Circular route: Gorges, mountains and the pure essence of the south

Saturday, 28th March

Today we leave our luggage at the hotel to enjoy our "rest" stage, this will be a circular one with a spectacular route. The day starts by climbing the winding road of the Dades Gorges, a narrow and steep route that offers some of the most amazing views of the trip.

From there, we cross the mountain on off-road tracks. Dirt tracks, narrow roads and endless landscapes await us until we reach the Todra Gorges.

It is an ideal day to enjoy without pressure, stop to take photos, contemplate and continue exploring. At the end of the stage, we return to the Xaluca Dades with our bodies active and our minds full of images impossible to forget.

Day 5 - Heading for the desert: from Dades to Merzouga

Sunday, 29 March

A marathon stage, intense and long awaited. We leave the Dades valley at dawn to enter the deepest Morocco: off-road tracks, lunar landscapes, hamadas and oases are on the menu. The goal is clear: to reach Merzouga, at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

The day is technical, with constant navigation and changes in terrain. There are road options for those who prefer a quieter route, but those who opt for the tracks will experience a day of pure adventure.

The arrival in the desert is exciting: after hours of driving, golden dunes appear on the horizon. The Tombouctou Hotel awaits us, where we can watch the sunset on the sand and prepare ourselves for the challenge ahead.

Days 6 and 7 - Erg Chebbi: driving on sand, technique and emotion

Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 March

Two full days dedicated to the desert. Starting from the hotel, with small groups and expert local guides, we head out into the dunes of the Erg Chebbi. The first day is a first contact day: smooth lines, controlled climbs, basic technique and adaptation to the terrain.

On the second day, the level rises. We face higher and more demanding areas. Driving over dunes requires precision, control and reading the terrain. There are moments of pure adrenaline and also breaks to contemplate the landscape, have a cup of tea, share with the group and watch the sun go down over the sea of sand.

Two unforgettable days combining learning, adventure and enjoyment in one of the most spectacular environments on the planet.

Day 8 - Sand rivers and high altitude closure

Wednesday, 1 April

We leave the desert on fast, wide and changing tracks. Today navigation is crucial and driving becomes pure fluidity. The so-called "sand rivers" offer fun, challenge and that kind of concentration that grabs you completely.

As we move on, the landscape changes and we gain altitude on our way to one of the most special accommodations of the trip: the Hotel Xaluca Spa Aguelmame Sidi Ali, next to a lake, surrounded by nature.

In the evening, the presentation of gifts and awards takes place. It is a moment to share, to toast and savour the end of an experience lived to the fullest.

Day 9 - Return home

Thursday, 2nd April

The experience comes to an end. Those travelling by plane will travel about 150 km to leave the car in Fes; those returning by road will have about 500 km to the port of embarkation.

This is the end of the journey, but not the end of the story. The experience of this raid goes beyond the kilometres: it remains in the memory, in the photos and in the conversations that will continue for a long time to come.

See you next time.
